How does travel and housing work?

One of the most common questions locum tenens providers have is, “how does travel and housing work?” No agency is the same, but at NEXTLocums we offer a couple of different options for you to choose from.

Let us book your housing

Our dedicated travel and housing team is always ready to get you settled by booking  everything for you. Most locum tenens providers choose this option because it eliminates the hassle of spending time researching areas to live in, comparing prices, and dealing with third parties.

We work with the best vendors across the country to  make sure you are safe, comfortable and happy in your temporary home. If you want our travel and housing team to book housing for you, you will work directly with one of our  travel and housing specialists to discuss what you are looking for.

We can research furnished housing, housing in specific areas, and find housing with certain amenities you are looking for (though this may increase the cost). Once you approve the housing option that fits you best, we handle the rest and all you have to do is move in.

Let us book your travel

Again, we work with the best vendors across the country to get you to your assignment smoothly and safely. Whether you need a flight or rental car, our team can find the best options for you. If you choose to drive your own vehicle, you can be reimbursed for mileage up to the agreed upon amount in your contract.

Book your own housing

Another option is for you to book your own housing. This option is best for those who enjoy taking the time to research housing, negotiate with third parties, and plan everything. Once you book your housing we will reimburse you up to the amount indicated and agreed upon in your contract.

Even if you decide to book your own housing, our travel and housing specialists are available as resources for you.

Book your own travel

Like booking your own housing, this option is for those who like doing the research and work themselves to find what they are looking for. However, we are always available to help or offer guidance when we can.
